The family history has been inevitably linked with the Chablis appellation for six generations. Michel Laroche has extended the domaine considerably since 1967, the year that he took over. A good third of the one hundred hectares are devoted to grand cru and premier cru; these are wines produced from the Réserve de l'Obédiencerie, hand-harvested when ripe, and which are of a high standard of quality.
