Smith Haut Laffitte a désormais pris place parmi les plus grands Pessac-Léognan. Il impressionne cette année encore par son caractère racé, son élégance et ses parfums à la fois denses, profonds et gourmands : cassis, mûre, framboise, terre humide, truffe, fleurs, réglisse,… On resterait des heures à les sentir se transformer et grandir dans le verre !
Encore plus séduisante, sa matière semble avoir été taillée dans la plus belle des soies ; fraîche et dense, maintenu par une structure et un équilibre irréprochables, elle offre à Smith Haut Laffitte 2008 une sensualité à toute épreuve.
Sa finale très pure, sur les fruits noirs et la réglisse, achève ce tableau de maître.
