“Close to the 2006’s excellent style” (Decanter), Conseillante 2008 is made from 86% Merlot. Black berries abound in the glass! Blackberries and cherry liqueur that are made even more complex by notes of raspberries and flowers (14% of Cabernet Franc).
This beautiful Pomerol, which is dense and sweet under the palate and has a full body that is slightly enhanced by woody notes that will blend together over time, is a long, opulent, structured and seductive wine.
A good choice.
