Doté d’une proportion en merlot supérieure à la moyenne de ses derniers millésimes (66% de cabernet sauvignon, 32% de merlot et 2% de cabernet franc), Château Haut-Batailley n’en demeure pas moins un grand Pauillac classique en 2008 !
Son équilibre, son caractère très pur, soyeux et son fruit mûr, concentrés et profond (mûre, cerise, cèdre, fruits secs, réglisse) séduisent immédiatement.
Déjà pleine de charme, cette belle expression de Pauillac se livrera dès ses premières années et pourra également se faire désirer 10 à 15 ans en cave.
