“Incredible charm”, “new density”, “natural harmony”. The new growing methods that were put in place for this vintage at the level of leaf stripping, tying up and cutting of the vineyards show a promising future for this wine, which is so precise that Pierre Lurton, its maker, defines it as a “pixellised wine”!

Cheval Blanc, which is made from a yield of only 23 hl/ha and a combination of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet franc, once again invites the wine lover to fly away with it to a poetic world where aromas, elegance, freshness and strength create a wonderful dialogue of perfect balance and very pure language.
The first stanzas colour the wine with summer fruit (raspberries and Morello cherries), and like an offering, lay a few spices and rose petals at its feet.
At the same level as 2005
The poem then runs along supple and very fine curves. The palate, which is left spellbound by airs of black cherries, vanilla from the islands and delicate liquorice, enjoys lounging on a velvety, vibrant and velvety carpet enhanced by an opulent body.
