Finca Sobreno Toro Crianza 2004

Because they age so incredibly well, the wines of Toro crossed the Atlantic aboard Christopher Columbus’ ships.

Toro is one of the oldest and smallest domains in Spain. Its altitude of 700 meters and hot and dry weather, which is cooled by sea winds, make it the chosen land of Tinta de Toro, a native grape variety that is similar to Tempranillo.
2004, an excellent Spanish vintage, which received a mark of 90/100 from Parker, is the most successful version of this vintage that is made by the “Spanish Denis Dubourdieu”, Professor Manuel Ruiz Hernández, who uses the Crianza method. This consists of ageing the wine for almost two years in the domain’s cellars.
The tasty Finca Sobreño Crianza 2004 is already elegant, rich, ripe and powerful. Its refined aromas of black berries, eucalyptus, resin, smoke, pencil lead and cedar will enchant you.
