According to his close ones, Hubert de Bouärd has never run as much through his vineyards! And he may never be as proud of his work.
This is because Angélus is one of the very few great wines to come out of the 2007 vintage, and a success that is due to very precise work on each plot and on each lot of wine.
The final composition (62% Merlot) distinguishes itself by its great ripeness. But the freshness of its beautiful aromas (red berries, vanilla, flowers and liquorice) is also surprising. The owner of Angélus focused on the fruit and fineness in order to achieve a tasty balance.
In this 2007, we also find the volume, dimension and silky character that are specific to this Lord. This wine, which received a mark of 90-93/100 from Parker, proposes one of the most interesting finishes in this vintage.
