Personne, pas même les pluies pernicieuses de ce millésime, ne saurait freiner Lafon Rochet dans sa quête du « très grand ». En cela, 2006, par sa puissance et son caractère « pulpeux », prolonge naturellement cet élan fondateur. Plus mûr et plus ouvert que d’autres Saint-Estèphe, Lafon Rochet 2006 allie structure de garde et plaisirs de jeunesse. Fruits noirs, chocolat et épices douces, élégance, équilibre : un vrai style, bien à lui, à Michel Tesseron et aujourd’hui à son fils Basile qui vient de reprendre les rênes du Château.
