Pierre-Jacques Druet is an outstanding winemaker. He was trained as an oenologist and settled in the Val de Loire in 1980. The Cent Boisselées vintage, which refers to an old agricultural measurement that is still used in Bourgueil today, seduces right away by its aromas of red berries, liquorice and spices. Its fresh and concentrated body is lively under the palate, which is charmed and surprised by its silkiness and suppleness. Its notes of cedar, smoke and spices make the echo of this wine, which is so pleasant and perfectly made in 2005, linger for long seconds.
