Once again Lafon Rochet succeeds in producing a superb vintage, intense and very full-bodied. Its finely wooded bouquet is of amazing complexity. Ample and full of flavour, it perfectly expresses the quintessence of Cabernet Sauvignon, set with fine, tightly-wrought tannins. One of the great wines of Saint-Estèphe for keeping in 2004, according to Jancis Robinson, the Financial Times wine's specialist.
