This wine, by raising the level of requirement for its peers, offers the Rhône Valley its letters patent of nobility.
Today, Philippe, a third-generation Guigal and oenologist, takes advantage of this rich experience. He is just as passionate as his forefathers and offers a Côtes-du-Rhône of rare elegance with a subtle bouquet of spices, blackcurrant liqueur and cherries for 2003.
For Marcel Guigal, 2003 is truly one of the best vintages that the Rhône Valley has ever known.
This fruit of an accomplished labour in a mythical vintage has received a mark of 88/100 from Parker.
