Coonawarra – an Aboriginal word that means “honeysuckle” – is nicknamed Terra Rosa, a reddish land of cool winters and warm, dry and Indian summers, which concentrates grapes in a marvellous manner. 1998 is an excellent vintage that has now reached a nice maturity and whose opulence, silky matter and smoky expression of black currant will definitely seduce you.
