Paul Jaboulet Aîné "Parallèle 45" 2006

For the last 200 years, the Jaboulet family has shared the same passion for the Rhône Valley, its rich lands and exceptional wines, which include their “Chapelle” , a mythical vintage.

Just as famous because of its excellent price to pleasure ratio, the "Parallèle 45" vintage takes its name from the geographic location of its vineyard, which sits less than 2 kilometres away from the Northern Hemisphere’s 45th parallel.
An imaginary line to which the residents of Pont de l’Isère, north of Valence, wanted to give meaning and where you will find this inscription: “The South starts here!”
The sounds of scrubland invade this typical Southern wine with its aromas of black berries, spices and the strength of the Sun.
