The standard in Côtes-du-Rhône
For the last few years, the Guigal family’s Côtes-du-Rhône has been one of our best-sellers in southern wines. If today, Etienne, and then Marcel, have passed on the torch to the new generation through Philippe, the price to pleasure ratio of their Côtes-du-Rhône remains excellent.
The best vintage in the last 10 years
Philippe Guigal, who was trained as an oenologist, continues the work of his forefathers with just as much passion. He has learned all the secrets of these southern lands, of tasting the grapes and interpreting time from them. With his professors looking on, he has experimented with the art of winemaking: he has integrated new techniques to make his wine even better.
A best-seller
In 2005, his Côtes-du-Rhône, which is very successful, has the youth of its winemaker, with its summery aromas of cherries and blackberries, typical freshness and superb vigour. But it also has the character of a family that has strived to build and conquer: the Guigal touch is felt in its structure, power and generosity.
A Côtes-du-Rhône to be enjoyed at all times.
