2007 is the first vintage made by the new team since Champagnes Roederer acquired the château. For the second consecutive year, Hubert de Boüard (Angelus) was called in as a consultant, but Denis Dubourdieu can now have his say. But they all agreed to increase the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon (58%) this year.
Pichon Comtesse 2007, which is distinguished and has good concentration, is a very elegant Pauillac. It opens with seductive aromas of red berries and smoky wood, and then releases noble aromas of liquorice and spices.
A fresh and structured wine made with taste.
