Château Lilian Ladouys. A fairly recent Saint-Estèphe domaine - covering a good forty hectares on chalky-clay, stony and sandy terroir running down to the river - of considerable interest. Cabernet-sauvignon is the predominant variety for these wines, two thirds of which are kept in new barrels. The ten year vintages are superb. The more recent ones are somewhat weaker. ...
