Château Lafon Rochet is one of the most pleasant Saint-Estèphes that we have tasted in Primeurs.
This 2007, made of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (40%) and Cabernet Franc (5%), seduces from the very beginning by the depth of its aromas of coffee, roasted spices and black berries. These full aromas are in perfect harmony with this wine’s tender and concentrated body.
In this vintage, the greatest secret of the Cos d’Estournel and Lafite Rothschild neighbour is that it is definitely and simply a success, needless to say. It will provide a lot of enjoyment throughout the next ten years.
