Château Haut Bailly is one of the great classic, virile, elegant and distinguished Pessac Léognans. Since the beginning of the third millennium, its excellence has never been questioned.
Not surprisingly, 2007 is a success in this Graves Cru Classé, which has been owned since 1998 by Robert G. Wilmers, an eminent figure in New York’s financial world.
It releases very rich aromas of cherries, bilberries, tobacco and leather from its intense and deep crimson colour. Haut Bailly, which is fine, suave and rather powerful, has remained “faithful to its usual style, which will only be amplified as it ages”, write Bettane and Desseauve.
A promising 2007 vintage.
