Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2007

Cabernet Sauvignon lovers could not hope for anything better than a Ducru Beaucaillou, which is made of 90% of the king of grape varieties in Médoc!

However, the beauty of this lord, which is recognised by all tasters, required operations that are exceptional because of their rarity and trying nature.

For the grapes to reach the quality and ripeness required by their rank, the Borie family has undertaken a major sorting operation over the two months of summer: first, during the ‘rosé harvest”, in their initial growth period, in order to homogenise the ripeness of the grapes in each bunch.

And then during the “green harvest” and after a full paring of the vineyard, which dangerously exposed the grapes to the sun, should the latter have decided to strike unexpectedly…

Luck, professional intuition… Today, Ducru Beaucaillou 2007 shines with a very dark crimson colour, which releases intense aromas of cherries, smoke and roses.

This is a great victory for the men and women of this Saint-Julien.

This wine, which is fine and caressing, becomes very ample under the palate, while remaining elegant and showing the great classicism that qualifies this lord.
