2007 is a fabulous vintage in sweet white wines from Bordeaux. In line with 1997 and better than in 2006, these wines combine richness, fineness and freshness, much like Château Doisy Daëne.
Doisy Daëne 2007, which is made by Denis Dubourdieu, who is considered to be the greatest winemaker of white wines in the region, offers a vintage of anthology and has received a mark of 94-96/100 from Parker.
The aromatic stage of this Barsac, which is pale gold in the glass and intense to the wine lover’s senses, is shared by tasty aromas of mandarin oranges and white flowers, and roasted and honeyed notes of peaches and spices. The double sensation is absolutely tasty.
This pure, elegant and distinguished wine offers a very lengthy finish, which promises a high potential for ageing.
“Impeccable, formal perfection” (Michel Bettane), but faultless in its tastiness as well!
