Château D’Armailhac 2007 has seduced Jancis Robinson of the Financial Times, one of the harshest critics this year.
This shows how successful the “cousin” of Mouton Rothschild is and how much potential it has!
It distinguishes itself by an opulent body, complex aromas of raspberries, liquorice, flowers and underbrush, and a very refined touch of fresh tobacco provided by the 22% of Cabernet Franc.
D’Armailhac 2007, which is fine, mature and pure under the palate, lasts long seconds on tasty notes of woody vanilla and cocoa.
This excellent Pauillac 5ème Cru Classé is clearly a special Bordeaux Primeur purchase in 2007.
