Since 2000, Château Lascombes has come back to its best level. This new success in a difficult vintage – a prowess already seen in 2002 and 2004 – proves it more than ever. We are given a very velvety wine to enjoy for 2006, a wine slightly dominated by Merlot (50% compared to 45% Cabernet Sauvignon), which gives it roundness, body and particularly explosive aromas of cherries, blackberries, smoke, coffee, spices, etc. A very beautiful silky and distinguished wine.
