With a drop in prices of nearly 25% compared to 2005 and a mark of 92-94/100 from The Wine Spectator, Lafaurie Peyraguey presents itself as an excellent deal. This is the first vintage under the supervision of M. Laramona, the former director of Pape Clément, who is quite successful when going from a dry white wine to a syrupy white wine. The dimension of this 2006 is airier than usual, and its aromas of honey, spices and citruses are very subtle, while maintaining beautiful concentration as well as great refinement.
