Mission Haut-Brion is definitely part of the elite of the 2006 vintage. The first sensation that rises from the deep ruby colour of this wine, which is different but just as much a success, is one of purity without concession. Then come banners of magnificent aromas of blackberries, coffee, chocolate and spices that “have the scope of infinite things” and that tell the tale of all the refinement of its name to the palate.
