“The only great vintage in the South of France”, the “Myth of Languedoc”… These nicknames, which rightly express the unique place Mas de Daumas enjoys in its region and in the heart of great wine lovers, are the fruits of its extraordinary regularity at a high level.
Authenticity
This Haute Couture Vin de Pays comes from vineyards that spread out among an immense forest of scrubland at an altitude of 500 meters. They cling to a poor soil that is scorched by the sun during the day and soothed at night by cool winds that blow in from Larzac… A man of conviction who is not swayed by fashion trends, the patriarch Aimé Guibert, does honour to these lands with an exceptional potential.
The essence of scrubland
His respect for the land clearly shines through in this essence of scrubland with a ruby colour that flows in a dense and caressing manner under the palate. The new Daumas Gassac vintage offers strength and fineness and the entire aromatic range found in scrublands: cherries, blackberries, rockrose, fennel, pine resin, tobacco, laurel, thyme, liquorice, etc.
30 to 50% less expensive
Like Bordeaux, the purchase of Mas Daumas Gassac 2007 as a Primeur allows lovers of great southern wines to take advantage of a very attractive price (30 to 50% lower) and have access to the quantities wanted one year in advance (delivery: July 2009).
Try it, you will definitely be a winner!
