Château Pibarnon - Bandol 2005 Wednesday 09/07/2008

Under the sun
The uniqueness of this great Mediterranean wine rests on the location of its vineyard, which lies in the upper reaches of the hills in a wide bowl that is protected from the Mistral winds. The Mourvèdre grape (95%), which is planted in a soil that was formed hundreds of millions of years ago, ripens slowly and thus develops true complexity under the sun.

Harmony and tastiness
They are exceptional in 2005, much like the intensity, elegance and ampleness of this wine, which releases great aromas of blackberries, bilberries, flowers and notes of scrubland, vanilla, musk.

Château Pibarnon, which is as well known as the Trévallon domain for its potential for ageing, is a harmonious, tasty and absolutely essential wine!
