D'Arenberg's white paradises...
Friday 29/12/2006 |
For more than one year, D’Arenberg "The stump Jump Grenache/Shiraz" has been one of ours best sales.
Many of you have actually recognized a real talent - in terms of bargains too - in this ambassador of great Australian wines !
Enjoy the discovery of "The Hermit crab" 2005, the perfect celebration of the "pleasure wine". Far away every form of intellectualism – its name is so charming – this white wine offers a blend of Marsanne/Viognier in the vein of the great wines from Vallée du Rhône and of which D’Arenberg became the bard in Mc Laren Vale.
The excellent bargain of "The Hermit crab" 2005 is as stunning as its bright shell which makes one think of a beach in the Bounty Islands. It has also been rewarded by Parker with a 90/100. It exhales sensual flavours of mango, pineapple and hazelnut which roll up like sea waters around beautiful freshness.
The New World with its taste of paradise…
