All the Argentina finesse
Thursday 15/06/2006 |
Nicolas Catena - An Italian grandson who went inArgentina in the early 20th century -, built a pre-Columbian pyramid as a wine storehouse. Near Mendoza, this Malbec seems to have found its new homeland. Discover this Catena Zapata,100% Malbec: fine, strong, fruity… With its deep purple colour, it reveals flavours of cherry, blackberry, black currant and some hints of vanilla, fresh tobacco and cedar that gives many nuances to this wine. Mellow in mouth, very expressive, it is an excellent pleasure-price ratio that can be tasted either young or after a few years in cellar. Cannot be missed!
