An Australian red wine at an outstanding pleasure-price ratio.
Thursday 15/06/2006 |
All around the world only 50 wines has been honoured to appear on this very selective list "World's Best Value Red Wines", elaborated by Decanter. Among these wines, D'arenberg the Footbold Shiraz.
This wine allows the first wine grower of the Osborn family to buy this vineyard in Mc Laren Vale in 1912. It can be tasted everyday with a lot of pleasure. Its bouquet of cherry, spices and undergrowth melted in a well-balanced structure and an as mellow as opulent body.
Indeed, The Footbold Shiraz - a 100% Syrah like its name points out - reminds the very perfumed wines from the Rhône Valley, a real French tasty like morsel, this Australian family knew how to model on France and sometimes how to exceed… To be discovered!
