Dom Pérignon 1996: absolutly stunning!

Without any doubt the greatest vintage of the decade for Dom Perignon and possibly from all times !... Parker honours it with a 98/100, rating that he has only awarded, up to now, to the 1990 Champagne Bollinger RD.
Even richer than the sumptuous 1990 Dom Perignon, it offers subtle aromas of white peach, vanilla and white pepper and, in the finish, vibrant notes of candied lemon.
For Alain Sarraute from “Le Figaro”, one of the leading French newspaper, this new vintage is a “very well-balanced and elegant master of arts” to what we add “absolutely dazzling” sensuality and a intensity!
