Lynch Bages, "a little Lafite"
Monday 15/06/2009 |
“2008 reminds us of a small Latour ”, writes Parker’s collaborator, Neal martin. This is a classic and distinguished vintage for this Lord, which has been highly appreciated as a Primeur by wine lovers for the last few years.
Château Lynch Bages 2008, which bursts with deep aromas of blackcurrant, cedar and roasted herbs, is elegant from the very first taste.
At first, it is silky, ripe and structured under the palate, and then releases rich and dense notes of black berries and spices that are greatly enhanced by a beautiful freshness. This Lord of Pauillac then embarks on a long, powerful and suave “moment of enjoyment ” on notes of woody vanilla and cocoa.
That its price is 20% lower adds to the enjoyment !
