“The 2007 vintage in Bordeaux will be one for producers that planned ahead”
Tuesday 13/11/2007 |
“The 2007 vintage in Bordeaux wines will be one for producers that planned ahead”, announces Cyberpress.ca.
Because of poor weather conditions, it is clear that the key to success was hidden in the vineyard and the “hard work” that it required (sorting, green harvests, treatments, etc.), which was “costly” but “necessary”. Thanks to the “providential” months of September and October, maturity and concentration will be present in 2007 Bordeaux for “far-sighted” producers. However, as it had been announced several times, yields will be 12% lower than in 2006.
