2005, a stroke of genius
Wednesday 02/11/2005
Confidentially, Jean-Marc Quarin gives a very positive review of the 2005 vintage. According to him, this vintage looks like a stroke of genius a little more every day. A structured and energetic wine with a natural richness of alcohol degrees, a refinement of ripe tannins without harsh or acidity aspect and an extraordinary aromatic presence. The Jean-Marc Quarin's review does not miss praises. The wine critique who tasted about twenty 2005 vintage in barrels, confesses that this vintage wonderfully combines greatness and delight. Château Margaux has particularly held his attention with an historic note of 25/20 for the barrel welcoming the most qualitative parcel from the domain, Puy Sem Pere. People who appreciate the fresh and floral dimension of Château Margaux will enjoy finding again, as Jean-Marc Quarin writes, 'this very beautiful signature'.
