Maury - a vin doux naturel (VDN) - based on grenache noir - has found a second youth in a region of contrasts. To be more precise, on this 155 hectare domaine with magical schist land situated in the Agly Valley. Here, Christiane Dupuy applies the work and style developped previously by her husband, Charles, with a care for quality that has certainly paid off, producing some remarkable vintages. At the foot of the Cathares ruins, the carboy park is also well worth a visit.
