Henri Lurton is the owner of this chateau which was already well-known back in the 18th century. The terroir is indeed superb. He has added his own personal style by implementing a strict selection process for the grapes which are harvested when fully ripened. The full-bodied wines bear the imprint of the terroir, and have a new aromatic complexity and elegance which allows them to be kept for longer than in the past.
