This vintage is a success for Haut-Médoc, a very resistant land of deep gravel, less bothered by the rains in 2006. The grapes of Château d’Agassac, which were concentrated by the heat and very healthy during the harvest, have produced a very dark wine that unfolds into the glass with the opulence of a noble and rich fabric. Its aromas evoke prunes, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, etc. A very successful and harmonious table. One of 1855’s favourites!
