The German Stephan von Neipperg has spared no expense in his efforts to restore this chateau to all the former glory it enjoyed in the years immediately after the Second World War. Great care is taken wit the growing methods, the yield has been considerably reduced, and the wine-making process has been modernised, giving the wines an excellent concentration. The chateau also produces an extremely costly and highly valued vintage not included in the appellation, called Mondotte.
