Michel Rolland was born in the same year as one of the century's greatest vintages, 1947. This internationally-known oenologist is - together with his wife Denise, who shares his profession - highly sought after. Yet he still finds the time to look after his 7 hectares of vines which have been in the family since the 20s. Here, Merlot grapes harvested when fully ripe produces a highly seductive Pomerol which should be left for at least ten years.
