The Nicolas family has owned this domaine since 1871. In the heart of the Saint-Emilion appellation, on the Pomerol plateau, with a gravelly-clay land with an iron slag subterroir, the wine is produced from a combination of varieities in which Merlot plays an important part (70%). However (25%) Cabernet-Franc makes the wine refreshing, complex and with its own personal qualities. One of the appellation's safest bets.
