Coteaux d'Aix en Provence

(Coteaux d'Aix en Provence)
(Coteaux d'Aix en Provence)
(Coteaux d'Aix en Provence)
AOC Provence

Situated in the West of Provence, on a limestone plateau, between the Durance to the North and the Mediterranean to the South, this appellation has been in existence since 1985. The vines grow among fields of lavender. Rosé wine production (70%) is made mainly from Grenache and Cinsault. They are fruity wines which are delicious with summer salads and grilled fish. The reds are the perfect accompaniment for red meats. The white wines are harder to find. Dry, they are ideal for drinking with seafood dishes.
