AOC Corsica
As it name indicates, this Muscat is produced in the northern Corsica. The appellation was created in 1993. Originally this wine was made from grapes which, after harvesting, were left out to dry in the sun in order to increase their sugar concentration. Now, the wine-growers wait until the harvest has a sufficiently high alcohol content to produce the wine using the VDN process (transformation into alcohol).
