AOC Burgundy
The appellation is situated in the Flagey-Échezeaux district, between Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. This Grand Cru is therefore placed between the strength of the former and the elegance of the latter. Unlike the Échezeaux AOC wines, the Grands-Échezeaux are planted on the hillsides. This is probably one of the best Burgundy red wines. Production is extremely limited.
